Frequently Asked Questions

How long is the turn around on Custom veils?

Each and every one of our veils are made by hand in our Mt. Vernon studio. Please allow for 1-2 weeks of production + shipping time. If you are a Washington local we are also happy to do in-store pick-ups for faster turn-around.

How much do custom veils cost?

This is a harder question to answer as we offer so many variations and styles to accomodate as many budgets as possible. Our veils start at $150 and go from there depending on length, style, and the level of embellishment.

Of course you can! When we say custom, we mean completely. You want lace and pearl? Dip dyed ombre with pearls or floral applique. This trim, but that color. Don’t hesitate to reach out with any ideas or special requests.

I want to revamp my mom’s/grandma’s veil. How does that work?

We love something old to something new projects! There is something wonderful and warm about heirloom pieces and getting to include generations of love in your big day. Because of the significance of hierloom pieces we highly recommend an in-person consultation first. We offer these by appointment every day we’re in the studio for a fee of $50.

In this 30 minute appointment we’ll look at your veil, double check it’s condition, and go over any potential concerns, and then hop into design! We’ll take a few pictures, make measurements and notes, and be able to sketch out your dream right onto a picture of the current piece.
